Ceramic candlestick from Modra, Slovakia, decorated with traditional hand-painted motifs in the characteristic blue and white colour combination.
The candlestick has an elegant, distinctive shape with a wide, stable base and a candle holder at the top. Its surface is decorated with cobalt-blue ornamental patterns, featuring geometric and stylised floral motifs. The individual brushstrokes and subtle variations in the painting give the piece an authentic handcrafted character.
The underside bears the hand-written marking “MODRA KL 484.”
